First time on a Trolley:
4th of July Parade in Alameda, 2018

Live Oak'ers (including many choir members) sang to the crowds lined up for Alameda's amazing July 4th parade. The crowds loved us (of course). Many thanks to all who sang and waved to the crowds along the 3.3 mile parade route: Angie & Kaim, David, Debra, Jay, Jim, Judith, Kate, Kathryn, Niels, Renee, Richard, Roger & Jason, Stine & Felix & Jonas, and Ximena & Bruno. And also a shout out to our fans (some of whom are shown below) for waving and cheering us on all along the route. (Thanks to Jim Freschi who pulled this all together, David Fry who arranged for the trolley, Jay Roller who organized the songs and singers, and to photographers Bernadette Alexander, David Fry, and Renee Harper).

And we're off!

Our wonderful crew decorated the trolley, handed out flags and bookmarks, and sang to the crowds all along the parade route. At the end, everyone said, "Let's do it again next year!"
